How do I set up Ollama with Synapse?

First, install Ollama on your computer or server. Then in Synapse, create a new profile, enter your Ollama server URL (usually http://localhost:11434), and select from the available models.

Where is my data stored?

All your conversations, profiles, and settings are stored locally on your iOS device using Core Data. API keys are securely stored in the iOS Keychain. We don't store any of your data on our servers.

How do I use voice chat?

Tap the microphone button in the chat interface to start voice recording. Speak your message, and it will be transcribed to text and sent to the AI. The AI's response can be read aloud using text-to-speech.

Why can't I connect to my AI provider?

Check your internet connection, verify your API keys or server URLs are correct, and ensure your Ollama server is running if using local models. Contact us if the issue persists.
